SUSAN G. KOMEN® STATEMENT REGARDING COVID-19
DALLAS – March 11, 2020 – Susan G. Komen® takes the health and safety of our supporters very seriously. As such, we are closely monitoring the news of the novel Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) and the current state of cases found across the U.S. Each of our local Susan G. Komen Affiliates are consulting with their local health authorities and are making decisions about any events they have planned during this spring season based on local conditions and the best interest of our supporters.
While many events will be unaffected, some may be postponed or cancelled. We are also investigating options, where possible and appropriate, to enable supporters to participate virtually, such as a virtual Race/Walk participation, conducting programing via live-stream and holding online auctions. Please contact your local Affiliate with questions about a specific event and follow them on social media for updates.
